Job Title:        Cloud Computing Consultant/Architect

Purpose: Design, Implementation and Project Management of cloud-based messaging, security and collaboration solutions, with particular focus on client email migration to Google Apps Email from environments such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell Groupwise.

Primary Location: Bracknell.  This position is primarily in the office but will require frequent travel to perform on-site customer engagements.

In November  2011 Ancoris was recognised as the Specialist Reseller of the Year at the UK industry CRN Channel Awards. In order to continue our planned significant growth we are looking for to add a further specialist Cloud Computing consultant to our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, Implementation and Project Management:

Responsibility for client migration projects to a cloud environment, to include:

• Email migration to Google Apps Email from environments such as Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell Groupwise;
• Collaboration projects using Google Docs and Sites
• Subsequent expansion into use of the full range of Google Apps including advise on integration with on-premise or legacy infrastructure and applications;
• Provision of other application services through the cloud using virtualisation tools including Citrix and Ericom

Consultancy:

• Providing advice to clients on maximising business benefit from cloud computing
• Acting as a Trusted Advisor for requests for advice and consultancy from the customer
• Presentation of Google roadmap and new features to ensure maximum customer benefit

Pre-sales support and contribution to Ancoris company vision:

• Responsible for significant input to  forward looking "vision" for cloud services in Ancoris including:
• Pre-sales support and helping explain the vision for "cloud" to prospects
• Input to Ancoris management and helping to identify opportunities and company strategy for the future
• Design and Implementation of new and innovative cloud solutions for customers

Required Competencies and Experience

Education

• Must have been educated to graduate standard (1st class or 2:1 Hons degree desirable)

Technical Competencies

As well as the interpersonal skills needed by a customer facing consultant serving blue-chip customers, and the drive and enthusiasm expected from someone at the forefront of a new way of delivering IT, we're looking for someone with a  range of the following technical experience:

Email Migration:

• Must have over 3 years proven experience in corporate messaging platforms, experience in server migration with projects of over 1000 users and demonstrate experience in documenting processes and methodologies
• Must have understanding of enterprise networking concepts (DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, DMZ) with a particular emphasis on mail routing and proxy architectures
• Must have proven experience in deploying and managing Active Directory (or other LDAP) and Exchange  (MCSE/MCP standard desirable)

Cloud Virtualisation:

• Must have Citrix or other related experience in enabling hosted applications to be provisioned via the cloud

Project Management:

• Must have proven project management experience

Account Management:

• Must have proven experience providing on-going consultancy to a major account over a 12 month period
