Gartner have released the latest Magic Quadrant for Secure Web Gateway featuring Ancoris partners for web security; Cisco Scansafe and M86 Security.

Cisco (incorporating Scansafe's web security as as service) are positioned as a Leader,  particular highlights are the ease of deployment of Scansafe for all organisations and the strength of the anyconnect integration for remote/roaming user.

M86 Security with their Secure Web Gateway appliance, virtual appliance and hybrid SaaS gateway solutions are identified as a Visionary supplier. Gartner highlights the security strengths of the M86 Security SWG solution, in particular the real-time code analysis (as opposed to signature based) and Dynamic Web Repair: the capability for stripping or neutralizing the offending threats rather than blocking the entire page, which reduces help desk complaints. M86 Security's adoption of the use of cloud-hosted instances of SWG linked to on-premise SWG to support remote/roaming users with unified management reporting capabilities is mentioned as an innovative approach.
