Cloud Skills Academy is Ancoris end user e-learning and e-support portal for G Suite which complements our face-to-face and virtual training courses.  It allows end users a self-service approach to learning more about the G Suite applications.

Cloud Skills Academy provides help pages, interactive demonstrations, tips, shortcuts and frequently asked questions on Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts and Sites, including the new Google Sites interface. It promotes self-help and reduces employees’ reliance on help desk support.

What’s New in G Suite

Last year alone, Google added over 200 new features to G Suite.  We make it our mission to keep the Cloud Skills Academy up-to-date with all significant new features as soon as they become available.  Our Chrome Extension notifies users of new features from within the application itself, and also provides quick links to key topics for new users. This ensures users never miss out on new functionality.

Ask a Question about G Suite

The Cloud Skills Academy provides a full catalogue of training on Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Hangouts and Sites. We have split training into the tasks that you perform in G Suite – when you click on a task, all relevant topics will be displayed. In addition, we update our Frequently Asked Questions section regularly with questions asked by real end-users on our face-to-face and virtual training sessions.

The Cloud Skills Academy Learning Record

Every user of Cloud Skills Academy has a Learning Record which provides a full history of the topics they have read in the Academy. There is also a chart which shows the topics they have viewed in the “Your First Days” and “What’s New” sections. Users can visualise the articles they have read in each category of the Academy, split by application in G Suite.

In addition, every administrator of a Cloud Skills Academy account can view a dashboard showing a Red/Amber/Green visualisation of the proportion of topics read within the organisation.  The administrator can drill-down to view the learning record of any user on their domain.

How to buy and deploy

The Cloud Skills Academy is available in your Google domain through the G Suite Marketplace. Users can access it directly from the G Suite applications either through the App Launcher, or via a Chrome extension.

Licences must be purchased in packs to cover the maximum number of licensed users configured for your G Suite domain. For example, if your company requires 245 user licences, 5 packs of 50 must be purchased.
